Wow, what a beauty! I've never seen cropped ears on Boxers, it being illegal here, he looks fabulous.

They are much shorter than I'm used to seeing. Around here, boxers who are cropped are generally done more like a dobe- long and straight. It looks nice, anyway, as far as cropped ears go!

Well, there's a story here....the vet did do them longer but they curled so bad that he trimmed them more...and we had to tape them up for about two weeks.....thus, the reason I prolly won't do it again.....but I do like them cropped on Sam.

That beautiful dog got his first snake bite...it was a copperhead last Thursday night. His head and throat swelled horribly. Since it was 10pm, I gave him 2 benadryl and set my alarm clock for every two hours to check on him...He slept alright but stilled extremely swollen. Took him to the vet ASAP Friday morning, series of shots and blood work. After 250.00 and 24 hrs, he's just fine. Still on antibiotics for 10 days to combat any residual effects of the bite. That's how we've spent our memorial day

He is quite handsome, and yes, that is a very short crop for a Boxer.

It often takes months of careful and consistent taping to get erect ears, esp. with the longer show crops.
